 IRC issues Anyone else having problems connecting to gamesurge? I'm failing, and though I do use a pretty off the wall IRC client, it's starting to tick me off cause I've tried a bunch of different servers. Thoughts?

Meh, went and got a more 'mainstream' irc client, and still can't connect. damn

no problems for me. can you connect to any of the other irc servers besides gamesurge ? or no IRC at all ?

Weird, I cannot connect to any other servers using either trillian, xchat, or my usual IRC client, but Opera's IRC client works fine. I'm confused.

Looks like Solaris found the info, and I made some changes to the uber K-dog firewall, and things are working again for now. I'm still not convinced I know why it was a problem, but meh, I won't worry about it until/unless it breaks again. Thanks for the replies all.
